Join us for an interactive training day. POWER Engineers is hosting our fourth annual workshop following the IEEE REPC conference, “System Planning and Managing Interconnections with Distributed Energy Resources While Maintaining System Reliability”. The event is hosted by POWER’s Brian Tomlinson and Jason Marenda, who will be joined by other facilitators, both from POWER and the utility world.
This workshop, at the Hyatt Regency Columbus, will help the planner manage the balance between risk, reliability and cost for the addition of Distributed Energy Resources at their utility. It will provide a forum to discuss real work experiences—successes and failures. The discussion will review how emerging technology can contribute to effective balancing of risk, reliability and cost. The facilitators of this workshop collectively have decades of experience working for cooperative, municipal and investor-owned utilities. Their perspectives will help provide practical, real-world input and solutions to the issues facing electric cooperatives.
To see the agenda and to sign up, visit the class registration website. Class size is limited to 40 people. CEUs are available.
