You’re Invited…
Join POWER Engineers March 2 and 3 for our 2011 Power Delivery Design Conference. Read on to find out why this is one event you won’t want to miss.
Change is in the Air
You may have noticed that our annual conference, which was previously known as POWER Engineers’ Transmission Line Design Conference, is now the POWER Engineers Power Delivery Design Conference. The new name reflects some exciting changes to the conference format for 2011. Electrical System Studies and Substation session tracks are joining our traditional Overhead and Underground presentation categories. You now have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of our Power Delivery world from one location—2011 is shaping up to be a must-attend event!
21 Years and Going Strong
Yes … our first line design conference was 21 years ago. Since that time, the event has come a long way and grown in content and numbers. But through all those years of change, our commitment to serve as host to your evening events has remained a constant. We believe that we all learn best when we enjoy ourselves with friends. So come visit us and realize the value of a conference filled with technical depth and quality speakers … plus some fun.
Quite the Setting
Sun Valley, Idaho, serves as the backdrop for Power Delivery Design 2011. The conference takes place at the Sun Valley Inn, with lodging available at the Inn or the magnificent Sun Valley Lodge.
Stay Tuned
Details of the 2011 conference are still under development, so please watch for future invitation issues. For now, keep these dates open and start planning your excuse for attending. The fact that you can earn education credits may be a good place to start! That’s right … POWER is a Registered Continuing Education Provider (RCEP), and Professional Development Hours (PDH) can be earned at our event.
Note: A conference fee of $475 (unchanged from last year) includes all conference sessions on March 2 and 3, and breakfast, lunch and dinner during conference dates.
Registration opening soon! Check back on September 15 to register online.
