POWER adding Environmental staff in Salt Lake City, Utah
SALT LAKE CITY (February 5, 2019) ‒ POWER Engineers Incorporated (POWER) is pleased to announce the expansion of our office in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are growing the distribution engineering team that has been working out of Salt Lake City since 2017, as well as adding Environmental staff. This office will support both existing and new clients in Utah and the surrounding states, strengthening our service offering throughout the Mountain West.
“Expanding our office in Utah helps us maintain our client-focused culture, bringing us closer to existing clients and projects and opening the door to new opportunities,” said Rob Reid, Vice President and Environmental Division Manager. From Salt Lake City, POWER will provide environmental services and distribution engineering services to energy clients, focusing on transmission and distribution, renewables and oil and gas projects.
The office will be led by Mike Doyle, AICP, PLA. Mr. Doyle is a senior project manager and comes to POWER with more than 27 years of experience in environmental planning and energy infrastructure siting, permitting and construction compliance. He has managed electric transmission, thermal generation, renewable generation (solar, wind), oil and gas pipelines, mining, transportation, private development, and government contracting projects throughout the Western U.S.
