POWER Engineers Moves to New Treasure Valley (Idaho) Location

December 2008

POWER Engineers, a leading consulting engineering firm in the design of energy, facilities, and communications projects worldwide, has relocated to Meridian, Idaho, establishing POWER Engineers’ largest office in both size and number of employees.

This office, located in the Silverstone Business Park off Eagle Road, employs more than 250 and is one of 20 domestic offices. The move allows the Idaho-based company to build on the success that has made POWER Engineers an engineering services leader for power delivery, power generation, facilities, and communications projects around the globe. “Our firm’s growth and success in project delivery and management precipitated the move to this new office,” said Vice President Bill Eisinger. “With nearly 60,000 square-feet of space and room to grow, we are strategically planning for the future.”

The new office building includes a number of energy efficient components, such as an automated lighting system, high efficiency windows and a new state-of-the-art server room. Built from the ground up, the server room was designed using an outside air economizer, an advanced design which uses outside air to cool the server room during summer months and uses hot air generated by the servers to heat the building during winter months. This new technology will ultimately allow POWER Engineers to conserve up to 151,000 kilowatt-hours of power per year, saving the company a considerable amount of money in electricity costs.

The new POWER Engineers office is located at 2041 South Cobalt Point Way, Meridian, ID, 83642. POWER Engineers may be reached by phone at 208-288-6100 or fax at 208-288-6199.
