POWER has established an office in Nairobi for this project and is providing an on-site team of construction supervisors and inspectors for both the lines and substations. Our design review services include the verification of electrical system studies and of the final designs for overhead and underground transmission lines and substations. This design review also includes technology transfer to the KETRACO staff in the form of on-site training. In addition, a local subcontractor is providing supervision of the implementation of the approved Environmental Social Management Plan and Resettlement Action Plan developed under Kenya national regulations.
