The York Energy Centre is a 393 MW natural gas-fired electricity generating facility that provides power during peak demand periods in Northern York Region of Ontario, Canada.  Pristine Power awarded the EPC contract for the York Energy Centre to Lill-DiFazio Constructors, who then hired POWER Engineers as their engineer.

POWER Engineers provided full and detailed AE design for installation of two Siemens STG6-PAC-5000F combustion turbine generator packages.  As part of the project’s commitment to environmental initiatives, the York Energy Centre reconstructed an on-site wetland.
